Daniel Kuchenbecker is an artist from Hugo, Minnesota. He has been teaching secondary art for 11 years, as well as various classes in the Twin Cities. Daniel started making art for exhibition and sale in 2016, focusing mainly on pottery. In 2021, Daniel started to watercolor paint regularly, something with which he had brief experience in the past, and has since participated in several exhibitions including the Minnesota Watercolor Society Spring Show. He has also been invited to demonstrate his painting for the MWS. After only painting with watercolor for a relatively short amount of time, it has become his primary medium and passion. Daniel is a self-taught watercolor painter and trains through a high volume of work created, constant practice, and personal study of watercolor masters. Daniel attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education. He also earned a graduate degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Learning Design and Technology.
